NX CAD/CAM 3 Axis Milling is a preconfigured solution that provides basic tools for 3D design and editing of parts and assemblies with modeling and sketching, synchronous modeling, basic and advanced freeform modeling, sheet metal design, and machining functions such as intermediate 3D data import, CAM programming foundation tools: toolpath display and editing, machining simulation with material removal calculation, NC post-processing, and generates manufacturing work instructions. It includes programming functions for 2D, 2.5D, and 3-axis milling.
